Soft Chapati Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup atta flour
- A pinch of salt
- 1 1/3 cups hot water
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
Instructions:
Mix Flours and Salt:
- Combine all-purpose flour, atta flour, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
Add Hot Water and Oil:
- Pour hot water and cooking oil into the flour mixture. Mix with a spoon until it cools down.
Knead the Dough:
- Once the mixture has cooled, knead it into a dough. Knead for a few minutes until it becomes smooth. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Knead Again:
- After 30 minutes, knead the dough again. Cover and let it rest for another 30 minutes.
Divide and Shape:
- Divide the dough into small, round portions as desired.
Roll Out:
- Roll out each small portion into a flat, round shape. Make sure it's not too thick or too thin.
Cooking:
- Cook the chapatis on a non-stick pan until both sides are cooked.
Serve:
- Your soft chapatis are now ready to be served. Enjoy them with curry or sweetened condensed milk.
